Today while I was driving down to Melbourne for a meet up I stopped off to get some petrol, and there was a woman at one of the service stations basically begging for money for petrol.
Now I shook my head and said no to her, because I myself only had enough money on me for my trip and none for any extra.
It’s truly a sad state of affairs when you have to beg for petrol money these days.
But with all the other things going on in people’s lives, the interest rates going up and people with less money, and the price of petrol at $1.45, more and more people are starting to either beg for petrol or fill up and drive off without paying.
I still remember when petrol was at 60 cents and I thought it going to 80 cents was expensive, who knows what it will be like when the price hits $2 like they say it is more then likely going to do one of these days.
What would you say is the most you’ve paid for petrol at the moment?

I can’t get over how expensive petrol is these days. This week it was up to 148.9. I bet we are going to hit $1.50 sometime this month. It is just insane.
