With all the weight I’ve lost in the last year, the idea of shopping is still something I’m getting used to.
Thinking about what I want to wear this winter is starting to becoming something I’ve seriously had to plan and with all the sales on at the moment, I’ve been able to pick up a few new things to wear.
Now that I can wear some of the more “In” things thanks to being in a Size 16, which is fairly normal and having a greater selection of shops to choose from I’ve had to start making a ‘Must have’ List.
- More Jeans.
I practically live in Jeans, no matter what size I was, jeans are a stable of my wardrobe, so need to get a bigger selection to choose from, and Target’s 25% sales of late are really helping with this.
- Jackets – Trench
- Fitted T-shirts
- Cardigans
- Shirts
- Knitted items
- Boots
- Bigger messenger style bag
I really do like the range of jackets out this winter, the Trench coat is really a nice style, very casual but also can be dressed up to seem more classy.
Will have to get a good coat as it gets really cold where I live and I really don’t want to freeze to death.
Another welcome addition to my wardrobe, less weight means more fitted items, I’ve been getting a few short sleeved shirts, but thanks to the weather the longer ones are on the list now.
These are up there with Hoodies as my favourate item of clothing ever, I think it’s my Gran channeling that makes me love a good cardi.
Can never have enough Shirts and in my line of work, you tend to wear them daily and paired with a knitted vest it can be functional and warm!
Hopefully I should have something I’ve knitted to use this winter, I’ve been attempting a few harder items in my patten books.
Saw a pair of these boots in the Target magazine last week and even though the are guys boots I really liked them.
I never have enough room in my handbag, so I’m on a mission to find a in between sized Messenger bag to carry all my stuff; being a scout I’m always prepared for anything and with a bigger bag it wont look like I’m carrying the world – even though I am.
If any of my readers know of a place that sells one under $100 I’d be greatful for the directions.
