The man has done it again.
I wake up this morning and see that Mr Reznor has released another piece of musical magic to the world and it’s brilliant as always.
I downloaded a copy of this song like the good little NIN fan that I am, set it up to play and thought it would be something mind blowing.
It wasn’t totally mind blowing, but I did enjoy it, reminded me of [With Teeth] it was catchy and quiet worthy of adding to my iPod.
I was surprised that it was something they’d only just finished Monday, talk about churning it out, we go for ages with nothing, and then BAM Ghosts pops up in March after a really annoying Soon appearing on the NIN.com front page.
Now this shows up after another soon, I honestly think if Trent keeps saying Soon he will kill off a few of his fan from the excitement.
The idea that it was just so out of the blue makes me think that this might become normal for Trent now that he’s in it for himself and not the record company.
I really couldn’t see something like this happening under contract, the fact the single was dropped off at the Radio stations in the US without any warning would be really hard to pull off if you had to go through other people before release.
Now that being said in the track info for Discipline, May 5th was mentioned; my first reaction to this was…
My first reaction to this was - what ever could you be planing Mr Reznor and will it involve me paying for more Overseas Postage??
And on another note the new tour he has planned is a World one, Yewh!! hope he comes back to Australia, I want to have a better concert experience then last years.
